The 2008 ABDO Graduation and Prizegiving Ceremony, held at Canterbury Cathedral on Wednesday 26 November, was a very successful and enjoyable event that will no doubt linger in the memories of those who attended for many years to come. Over 800 people attended the event to see some two hundred graduands and twenty prize-winners receive the conferral of their awards.

Mark Chandler, ABDO’s Head of Examination and Registration, was master of proceedings for the evening, John Fried FBDO, Master of The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers gave an interesting and humorous address, which was followed by an introduction by ABDO President, Barry Duncan FBDO, who then warmly congratulated each and every graduand and prize-winner who attended.
