Mr Thompson, head of professional services for SynergEyes, explained: “The aim of the roadshow is to help practitioners understand that SynergEyes Duette Hybrid contact lenses are not just for complex cases, but are a legitimate and affordable option for astigmatic patients of all ages, including presbyopes. SynergEyes Duette Hybrid provide a best of both worlds approach to contact lenses, combining the visual performance of an RGP lens with the comfort of a soft lens. This makes them a powerful tool in the armoury of the modern contact lens fitter in regular high street contact lens practice. Utilising empirical fitting and with similar evaluation to soft lenses, the SynergEyes Duette range is a great alternative to soft toric lenses for moderate to high astigmats.”

The SynergEyes Hybrid contact lenses feature SoftCushion Comfort Technology, as well as a UVA and UVB blocker for sun protection. The Hybrid platform offers centration and stability with vision not affected by lens rotation.

The roadshows begin in London on 12 September, followed by Manchester on 13 September, Leeds, (14), Bristol (28), Birmingham, October 10, Edinburgh, (11) and Glasgow (12).

Mr Thompson concluded: “Practitioners who don’t like compromise and want to differentiate their practice, need to attend one of these events.”
