Press release: Discover how to identify and handle conflict in the workplace

Conflict in the workplace can occur in many different ways and levels of seriousness. Managers and leaders need to identify and handle conflicts appropriately and in a timely fashion. Failure to do so can lead to escalation of the conflict. A new conflict management workshop from ABDO gives practice managers and owners the opportunity to learn how to handle and resolve conflict successfully.

Conflict is not always a negative, it can have positive outcomes for those involved. Why not attend one of the 1-day workshops to learn more about the skill of conflict management and talk through real-life challenges? The Conflict Management Workshop includes sessions on:

  • types and causes of conflict.
  • impact of conflict on organisational performance.
  • processes for investigating conflict situations in the workplace.
  • knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to manage conflict.
  • stages of dealing with conflict.

Feedback from previous attendees:

“Refreshingly useful and multi-layered. The presenter was very adaptable to input from the group.”

“The interactive aspect was great to be able to discuss our own opinions openly.”

“Very relevant. Good to learn from each other too.”

The next Conflict Management Workshop runs on Wednesday 17 August at the ABDO NRC in Birmingham. These workshops attract 9 CPD points.
