Dispensing optician, Fishguard

Job description

A Rare Opportunity to Join a Leading Welsh Independent Eye Care Practice

Dispensing Optician | From £40,000 + Performance Bonus | Fishguard, Pembrokeshire

Concept Eye Clinic (formerly MN Charlton) is an award-winning independent practice with an outstanding reputation across Pembrokeshire for exceptional patient care, clinical standards and personal service.

We are now looking for an experienced dispensing optician with strong leadership and commercial acumen to play a pivotal role in the continued success and growth of our practice.+

This is much more than a dispensing position. It is an opportunity to become a key part of a highly regarded independent business where quality, reputation and patient loyalty come before volume.

A practice built on quality, not quantity

At Concept Eye Clinic, we take a different approach. We invest in our patients, our people and the products we recommend.

You will work with premium lenses, state-of-the-art optical technology and carefully selected designer eyewear, delivering a genuinely personalised experience that builds trust and long-term loyalty.

We are looking for someone who shares that philosophy — an accomplished professional who can combine exceptional patient care with leadership, initiative and commercial awareness.

Your opportunity

As a key member of the team, you will have the opportunity to:

· Take a leading role in delivering an exceptional patient journey

· Build lasting relationships with patients and become a trusted optical adviser

· Lead and inspire the team with confidence and positivity

· Use your commercial acumen to contribute to the continued success of the practice

· Work with some of the finest lenses, technology and designer products available

· Develop your professional expertise with genuine opportunities for career progression

· Make a meaningful contribution to an independent business with an excellent local reputation

We are looking for an individual who is organised, commercially aware and professionally confident, but equally warm, approachable and naturally skilled at building rapport.

What we offer

From £40,000, with a package designed to recognise performance, commitment and development.

· Quarterly pay reviews

· Performance bonus

· Professional development and training

· Genuine career progression

· A supportive, first-class working environment

· The opportunity to influence and shape the future success of the practice

· No glass ceiling on earnings

· Help with re-location costs

This is an opportunity to make your mark.

If you are an ambitious dispensing optician looking for more than simply another role — and want to build your career within a respected, quality-driven independent practice where your expertise, initiative and commercial contribution are genuinely valued — we would love to hear from you.
