Wednesday 12th December 2018 at 4pm will see the second annual Alconversation event running at the Alcon Academy. Alcon would like to invite you to be part of the online audience, with an opportunity to interact with the event with your comments and questions. Alconversation is an event that aims to provide a platform putting practitioners’ needs and experiences at the centre of the conversation, providing them with an opportunity to listen to a panel of key opinion leaders from regulators to peers discussing pertinent and thought provoking topics in the industry today. The panel will respond to some of the questions being considered in practice today, holding a positive discussion to understand what can be learnt for the future.
This year the panel will see representation from the General Optical Council (GOC), Association of Optometrists (AOP), Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO), College of Optometrists and an Ophthalmologist. They will be discussing some of the issues from the world of optometry over the last year, considering what we can learn from these for the benefits of our patients in the future.
