MECS and GRM Update and date for next OSCE

To date there are in excess of 150 CLOs who have requested codes to take part in the WOPEC online training which is seriously impressive, reflecting a real desire to individually develop and naturally to enhance the status of the profession. The revised LOCSU pathway has been signed off. It is reassuring that CLOs are now part of the document which is most helpful as we attempt to attract new contracts and aim to achieve contract variations. On the 5th December the Regional Leads met with Barry Duncan to discuss priorities and activity in 2019. It will be no surprise that MECS is most definitely at the top of the agenda. Barry says, “I would urge everyone who has knowledge of local arrangements or had discussions with LOCs to feed the information in to me and the relevant Regional Lead so we can collectively make progress.”
