Optical Confederation releases advice on Trading Standards challenge

The Optical Conferederation (OC) has issued guidance in response to a challenge from Trading Standards as to whether patients buying spectacle frames are generally aware that the display frames they try on are the frames that they are actually purchasing .

Advice in the briefing recommends “prominent notice(s) to the effect that ‘Frames on display may be those sold’”.
