Specialist contact lens fitting days

Positive Impact (PI) has partnered with Cantor Barnard to run two specialist contact lens fitting days this autumn.

The sessions will take place at their respective offices with Cantor Barnard hosting the first event in Brackley on Thursday 10 September, with PI reciprocating in Hastings on Tuesday 17 November.

The days will be for small groups of up to eight delegates, delivering a combination of lectures and workshops focused on fitting scleral, orthokeratology and extended depth of focus (EDOF) lenses.

They will be run by experienced contact lens opticians Ian Sexton, Phil Thompson and Nick Atkins.

There are 13 CPD points on offer on both days, including specialist points for contact lens opticians.

Head of professional education at Cantor Barnard, Ian Sexton, commented: “This is a great opportunity for independent practitioners looking to expand the scope of their contact lens practice. Working in small groups, delegates will get the necessary hands-on experience required to build confidence with fitting these lens designs.”
