ABDO awards

Awards

  • Honorary fellowship
  • Life membership
  • Medal of excellence

In 2006 the ABDO Board established an independent panel to recommend people for recognition who have given considerable service to ABDO over the years. The Awards Committee meet annually to review nominations and submit their recommendations to the ABDO Board.

Three awards are given by the Board:

Honorary Membership (awarded to non-dispensing opticians who have been of great help to the Association)

Life Membership (for distinguished members of the profession)

Medal of Excellence (for members who have been of great service to the Association)

If you wish to make a nomination, please send your submission to Jane
