30th anniversary campaign shot featuring the Royal frame
William Morris London is celebrating 30 years of design and creativity this year, with a special eyewear collection celebrating the spirit and heritage of the capital.
The new collection, designed by house eyewear creative George Clarke, honours the brand’s heritage while looking towards the future.
Among the highlights of the collection is the Royal frame, a limited-edition sleek aviator design created especially for this milestone. Available in black, crystal, blue and red, the frame is inspired by the iconic colours and geometry of the London Underground seat fabric.
Commenting on the project, George said: “Designing the 30th anniversary frame was an exciting creative project, as it allowed me to build on the original 20th anniversary frame while bringing a fresh and modern perspective to the design. The new frame celebrates the heritage of William Morris London while introducing a contemporary expression of the brand’s identity.”
To continue the celebration of this milestone, William Morris London will mark its 30th anniversary during Silmo Paris on Sunday 27 September.
