Important information

It is good practice to obtain written consent from the patient involved, even if all identifiers have been removed, and this is a compulsory requirement if you wish to include photographs/images to support the case. Please ensure the patient is aware that their case may feature in professional publications, social media posts and may form CPD cases for educational purposes.

*Students, please note that by accepting your case for publication, this has no bearing whatsoever on any professional assessment of cases by the ABDO Examinations team.

As part of our 100 years of the profession celebrations ABDO staff will be raising money for the ABDO Benevolent Fund and we invite you to join in.

The ABDO Benevolent Fund provides financial and practical support to ABDO members and their families in times of hardship. Our fundraising helps ensure this support continues.

Over the coming months we will be sharing our fundraising endeavours with you. If would like to take part or donate you can do so here via Zeffy

We are inviting members to think of creative ways to raise funds, whether in practice, at head office or individually. You could walk 100km as a team, run a 5K, host a bake sale, or come up with an idea of your own.

You can register as a team or as a solo contributor.

Please share you fundraising activities with us, we would love to see what you are doing and share with others in the profession across our communication channels.

      Register here.
