Would you like to use your expertise to influence the decisions of your regulator, the General Optical Council (GOC)? Would you like to gain valuable experience that will enhance your career?
Registrants can achieve both these goals by joining one of the GOC’s statutory advisory committees.
The GOC is looking for dispensing opticians to join its standards and education groups, and business owners to join the companies committee. The paid roles take two to four days a year.
Registrants have until 19 June to apply by submitting their CV and a covering letter. More information is available on the GOC’s website here.
