OSA members to meet again

The Optical Suppliers Association (OSA) will hold its spring members’ meeting at the Kettering Park Hotel on Wednesday 23 March.

Due to the Covid pandemic, this will be the first ‘in person’ members’ meeting since October 2019.

OSA chair, Andy Hepworth, said he was looking forward to welcoming as many OSA members as possible.

He said: “It will be wonderful to finally have members together again for one of these meetings following a difficult two years for everyone. The AGM in December was a great success and with the easing of Covid restrictions, it made sense to hold this as an ‘in person’ event.

“It is an ideal opportunity to catch up with fellow OSA members and discuss directions the OSA are planning. This is where we can look at the good things that can now emerge with – and the new and continuing OSA initiatives that we want to share with our membership.”

The meeting will have two presentations – the first on MHRA and MDR issues from OSA consultant, Ann Blackmore, the second from i2i Citipost on what courier services they can offer the optical sector. There will also be updates on 100% Optical, sustainability and market research.

Members have received the programme outline for the day and may email mmacritchie@osa-uk.co.uk with any queries or to confirm attendance.
