New CEO for Silhouette

Christian Bachler

The Silhouette Group has appointed Christian Bachler as chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of the executive board, effective 13 April 2026.

Christian joins the company from the Fiskars Group, where as executive vice president he led the global Vita business area – managing a portfolio of premium and luxury brands and drving their strategic and operational development across key markets in the United States, Europe and Asia.

“With Christian Bachler, we are appointing a CEO who will further develop our brands, drive growth, and consistently execute transformation – exactly the kind of leader we need for the next phase of our development,” stated the company’s supervisory board.

The current CEO, Reinhard Mahr, will continue to support the company as chief financial officer until his planned retirement.
