ABDO has announced that its 2024 clinical conference this autumn will take a hybrid approach, enabling even more members to gain CPD.
Alongside a one-day hands-on clinical conference taking place on both Sunday 6 and Monday 7 October at the ABDO National Resource Centre in Birmingham – webinars, online peer reviews and journal club sessions will be offered.
The 2024 clinical conference themes are:
• Paediatric dispensing
• Myopia management
• Acute eyecare for dispensing opticians
Last year’s sold-out myopia management conference was hailed “a huge success” with positive feedback from attendees.
Alex Webster, head of CPD at ABDO, said: “We are really excited to build on the success of last year’s conference and use a hybrid approach in 2024. This will enable even more ABDO members to benefit from the high quality and focused education that will be on offer to support their continuing professional development.”
Booking for the ABDO clinical conference will open on 1 July.
