The Charmant Group is to close its UK operations at the end of June.
In a letter to its UK customers, the Japan-based company wrote: “The Charmant Group have taken the difficult decision to close UK operations from end June 2024. Charmant Europe will continue to trade from its offices in Paris, Munich and Woerden as currently along with the logistics hub in Willstatt.
“This decision from Charmant Group has been arrived at with sadness after a lengthy and substantial review process taking into account multiple factors of supplying the UK market.
“Focus is on the closure process until end June 2024 however Charmant Group are looking at potential options to supply UK customers, should they wish to purchase Charmant frames after this time, from their European hub with an online only option. This will be advised on further in due course.”
