Mini-PAC open to all

A series of expert learning sessions open to all optometrists, contact lens opticians and dispensing opticians has been announced by Specsavers.

The Mini Professional Advancement Conference (MiniPAC) online sessions will feature expert speakers and offer CPD points for those taking part. The first of the 16 online sessions take places on Tuesday 21 March with the series running through March, April, May and June.

“Specsavers is a passionate supporter of CPD because it benefits both the development of clinicians and our patients – which is why we are running the MiniPAC online series,” said Neil Retallic, head of professional development at Specsavers.

“This MiniPAC online series is open to both Specsavers and non-Specsavers colleagues. It will feature experts in a range of fields. They will cover subjects such as dispensing, successful contact lens fitting, referrals, Independent Prescribers, the sky is the limit when it comes to professionalism, visual fields, unlocking children’s vision for life and wellbeing through purpose.”

Specsavers is also running face-to-face MiniPAC sessions for its clinicians across the UK and the Republic of Ireland from March to June.
