Multifocal Masterclass CPD for CLOs

Johnson & Johnson is teaming up with ABDO to deliver a CPD Masterclass on Tuesday 11 November (9am to 4.30pm) at the National Resource Centre in Birmingham, tailored specifically for contact lens opticians (CLOs).

Mastering Mulitfocals will offer ABDO members 12 CPD points, including a CLO-accredited peer review.

The focus is on presbyopia and the art of multifocal contact lens fitting, offering hands-on experience and clinical insights.

Participants will engage in practical workshops, including simulated multifocal contact lens fittings, and explore strategies to confidently support presbyopic patients throughout their contact lens journey.

“Contact lens opticians play a pivotal role in ensuring contact lens wearers enjoy the best possible experience,” said Ian Pyzer, professional education and development lead at Johnson & Johnson. “With presbyopic patients driving demand for multifocals – especially as the UK population ages* – we’re excited to explore this important topic in depth.”

An expert team of professional affairs consultants from Johnson & Johnson will facilitate throughout the day and provide additional support to delegates.

Exclusively for ABDO members, the CPD Masterclass can be booked via ABDO Events.
