‘Seastainable’ concept store

Window display highlighting brand story

Sea2see has partnered with independent French optician, Julien Clavel, to launch its first stand-alone store in Grenoble.

The new flagship location, which is 95m2, marks the debut of a fully branded Sea2see optical store in France.

Situated in one of Grenoble’s busiest pedestrian shopping streets, the store features a contemporary interior using natural materials like wood and stone, and a tranquil natural colour palette inspired by the sea and nature.

The full Sea2see sun and optical eyewear collections are showcased, alongside a range of professional ophthalmic services.

The window display was created to demonstrate the recycling stages used by Sea2see to make the frames – from marine waste collection through to the production of the recycled material and the actual manufacture of the frames in Italy.

François van den Abeele, founder of Sea2see said: “It is only natural that we roll out an optical retail concept for Sea2see, where customers can experience our brand values and discover the impact on the environment via the Sea2see Foundation.

“I am extremely proud that we are taking the first steps on this retail project with Julien in a great city and strong market for our particular type of eyewear focusing on ‘seastainable’ values.”

The store is located at 17 Rue de Bonne, 38000 Grenoble, France.
