Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated dispensing optician to join our professional optical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting suitable eyewear, accurately dispensing spectacles, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
Assist customers in choosing appropriate frames and lenses based on their prescription, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences.
Dispense spectacles accurately, ensuring proper fit and comfort for each client.
Verifying spectacle prescriptions with some spectacle lab experience would be useful
Maintain and update patient records with precision and confidentiality.
Prepare lenses and assemble spectacles using laboratory equipment, adhering to quality standards.
Provide guidance on lens options, coatings, and aftercare to optimise customer satisfaction.
Support the optical team with stock management, ordering supplies as needed.
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing queries professionally and courteously.

Skills
Proven laboratory experience in optical lens fitting and spectacle assembly.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate dispensing.
Good communication skills to explain technical information clearly to clients.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a busy optical practice.
Customer-focused approach with a friendly and professional demeanour.
