Contact lens firms line up for 100% Optical

Organisers of next year’s 100% Optical have announced the show will feature a bigger focus on contact lenses than ever before, with an exciting line-up of major brands in recognition of the sector’s value and importance.

CooperVision, Johnson & Johnson Vision, Bausch & Lomb, and Safilens are all confirmed exhibitors at the three-day show, which returns to ExCeL London from 25-27 February 2023.

Nathan Garnett, 100% Optical show director, said: “The increased presence of contact lens manufacturers at 100% Optical in 2023 reflects not only the growth of this sector, but also feedback from visitors, who are eager to improve their knowledge and offering in this area.”

Dr Rachel Hiscox, Johnson & Johnson Vision professional education and development manager, UK and Ireland, commented: “J&J Vision is really excited to once again be exhibiting at 100% Optical and is looking forward to engaging with delegates during the exciting event. Supporting excellence in patient care is fundamental to what we do at Johnson & Johnson Vision, so we are thrilled to have an exciting CPD timetable planned, with a main stage lecture on Saturday, six CPD sessions on the Association of Optometrists stand across Saturday and Sunday, and an interactive poster trail on stand every day.”

Christina Olner, head of professional affairs at CooperVision UK and Ireland, said: “CooperVision are thrilled to be exhibiting at 100% Optical for the first time; we have a really exciting proposition on stand that will encourage delegates to reconsider the way they manage their contact lens patients; we want to incorporate their ideas and experiences as we build a programme that redefines the traditional approach to contact lens management. We’re delivering 13 hours of CPD workshops and lectures across all three days, covering myopia management, presbyopia and a fresh approach to the contact lens patient journey.”
