Webinar: How to become a member of the GOC’s hearing panel and advisory panel

The GOC are recruiting new members for their Hearings Panel and Advisory Panel.

The GOC are looking to appoint eleven members to their Hearings Panel – three lay (non-registrant) members, four dispensing opticians, and seven optometrists.

The GOC are seeking seven new members to join their Advisory Panel. The Advisory Panel is made up of several committees – we are recruiting members for our Companies, Education and Registration Committees:

Companies Committee (one dispensing optician, one optometrist and one business registrant);
Education Committee (one dispensing optician and one registered medical practitioner); and
Registration Committee (one dispensing optician and one lay member).

We will be hosting a webinar on March 25 at 7.00pm to provide insights into what those roles involves, the application procedure, and recruitment process.
