ABDO skills workshop at SightCare Live

ABDO will be running a CPD-accredited skills workshop at SightCare Live, taking place on 26 and 27 April at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham.

Titled ‘Frame modifications: room with a view’, the session will take place at 1.50pm on Monday 27 April.

It will be delivered by ABDO professional development learning manager, Cheryl Hill, with support from Alex Webster, ABDO director of professional development, and ABDO CPD facilitator Jo Newsome – and is accredited for three CPD points.

“This one-hour interactive session will look at frame modifications that can be carried out in practice,” said Cheryl. “We will be doing ptosis adaptations, pad arm conversions and let back alterations.”

With a members’ workshop and the SightCare Awards taking place on Sunday 26 April, the following day will see a full programme alongside a suppliers exhibition.

The exhibition will include new SightCare suppliers – Mondottica, Reefyll, SightGlass Vision and Wright & Bailey London.
