BCLA myopia management webinar

Jonathan Cohen

The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) is set to summarise hundreds of papers on myopia management in a one-hour webinar to be held on 16 July from 7-8pm.

To be presented by Professor James Wolffsohn and Jonathan Cohen, the webinar will summarise changes in attitudes towards myopia management since 2015 from surveys carried out every couple of years.

BCLA chief executive, Brad Parkes, said: “Many practitioners have engaged with myopia management, but not all. There are a range of easy-to-apply options that can significantly reduce a patient’s risk of future myopia-related ocular pathology.

“Our latest webinar will allow practitioners to consider the options available to them for myopia management and to benchmark their current practice against those of their peers, while understanding the treatments and strategies being applied in the real world.”
