New digital sponsor for NRC

The ABDO National Resource Centre (NRC) in Birmingham has announced the Eyewear Café as its newest gold digital sponsor.

Visitors to the NRC will see the Eyewear Café featured prominently on the centre’s website and across digital screens within the venue, which welcomes more than 12,000 guests annually.

The Eyewear Café was launched by Adam and Malya, a husband and wife team, in their spare bedroom in May 2023. Their first collection was the Latte series of traditional frames. In March 2024, they added their Mocha and Espresso collections. The Cappuccino series followed in May 2025 and in February 2026 they will be launching their fifth collection, the Cortado series.

Adam has 12 years’ experience as an eyewear sales representative, predominantly in the northwest of England, whilst Malya has 17 years’ dispensing and practice management experience at an independent practice in Manchester.

Adam said: “It’s an honour and a pleasure to extend our partnership with the ABDO National Resource Centre. We’re an upcoming brand and this is a fantastic opportunity to get our name in front of and engage with tens of thousands of optical professionals every year. It’s a outstanding facility and we’re proud to be associated with it.”

Mat Stringer, NRC operations manager, commented: “I’m thrilled to welcome the Eyewear Café to the NRC as our latest gold digital sponsor. The Eyewear Café already supports the NRC with sponsored napkins, so being able to showcase their profile further across our digital platforms will be fantastic.”
