PCSE invites contractors to order test kits “as soon as possible”

Primary Care Support England (PCSE) is inviting all contractors in England to order their Covid-19 lateral flow antigen self-testing kits for patient-facing staff as soon as possible.

The invitation follows a letter sent by NHS England and NHS Improvement on 16 December to all contractors about the roll-out of lateral flow testing devices for Covid-19.

How to order test kits

Contractors will need to order a self-testing kit for each member of patient-facing staff, including temporary staff.

Test kits can be ordered using the PCSE supplies portal. Once logged in to the portal, contractors can search for ‘Test Kit C19’ in the supplies section to order these to their practice.

Important note: one box contains 25 lateral flow tests, enough for one member of staff for 12 weeks.

Contractors can confirm their order has been placed correctly by checking the Orders Placed page. Once orders have been placed, deliveries will take place throughout January.
