The General Optical Council (GOC) has removed its registration of Fast Pop Specs – more widely known as Pop Specs.
A GOC Fitness to Practise Committee determined that Pop Specs had been incorrectly registered as a body corporate under Category C.
This, the regulator reported, was due to incorrect information submitted by Pop Specs in relation to its business activities.
Pop Specs has until 25 December 2025 to appeal against its removal.
