The Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers (ACLM) has appointed Luke Stevens-Burt as its new secretary general.
Luke recently left his role as chief executive of the British Contact Lens Association, where he led key initiatives including membership development programmes, governance reforms and education activities, resulting in growth and increased organisational reach. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Systems Thinking and English Language and is a Fellow of the Society Association and Membership Professionals.
ACLM chairman, Richard Smith, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Luke to the ACLM. His extensive experience will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and success of our association. We look forward to working closely with him to achieve our goals and drive the contact lens sector forward.”
Luke begins his new role this month on a part-time basis.
