CPD capacity expanded at 100% Optical

100% Optical organisers have increased the capacity for a number of the lectures and workshops running during the event from 22-24 January 2022.

In collaboration with the Association of Optometrists, the three-day show will feature more than 130 sessions – including lectures, workshops and peer discussions across 10 different education hubs, providing attendees with CPD points under the new scheme starting next month.

Sessions available include:

  • Post Covid recovery of ophthalmology services in partnership with community optometry
  • Don’t look back in anger: exploring what is meant by competence, how to work to it, what that means for the future of optometric practice and how responsibility might evolve with technology. The lecture will also consider how this might impact on the current challenges facing the NHS and waiting lists
  • Ultra-widefield retinal imaging 2.0: a step-by-step guide to reviewing and interpreting pathology and disease
  • It’s a digital world: contact lens and dry eye management in the 21st century
  • The story of comfort: unpacking key details to help minimise contact lens drop-outs
  • New technology, new pathology: multimodal imaging as an enhancement to standard retinal examinations

There will also be thousands of new products on display, and advice on all aspects of running a practice will be available.
