Spring PAC offering CET for DOs and CLOs

Up to 30 CET points are available in next month’s Specsavers Professional Advancement Conference (PAC), with specific content for dispensing opticians (DOs) and contact lens opticians (CLOs).

The event runs from 12-27 April with live, interactive learning for eyecare practitioners regardless of where they work, and a choice of daytime and evening slots, repeat sessions. Recordings will also be made available post-conference.

There is no fee for Specsavers employees; for non-Specsavers delegates there is a charge of £50.

Gill Robinson, Specsavers director of professional training and development, said: “Spring PAC is a chance to meet up with colleagues virtually, and enjoy world-class peer-to-peer, discussion-based learning that is so relevant to clinical practice right now. Thanks to generous sponsorship from Alcon, CooperVision, Johnson & Johnson and Menicon, this conference is free to all qualified clinicians.”

The programme includes new content on:

  • Dispensing in today’s world
  • Career development for dispensing opticians
  • Contact lenses customer journey
  • Getting started on OCT
  • Paediatric eyecare
  • Dry and dual wear
  • Supervision of DOs training to be Contact Lens Opticians.

Practitioners are asked to only book sessions they can definitely attend. Register and book here.
