Record Year for 100% Optical
The UK’s largest optical show took place at London EXCEL from 27th – 29th January
The show attracted visitors from all over the world and premiered more than 20 exclusive product launches, 16,500 frames and 100 pieces of equipment.
100% Optical has grown in popularity for the 5th consecutive year since launching, with 8,936 people attending. An 11% increase in visitors compared to last year, when the show attracted 8,051 people.
Event Director, Nathan Garnett said, “We’ve had double digit growth on visitor figures which is great news for our fifth anniversary and we’ve noticed a significant number of first-time visitors who haven’t been to an optical show before.
Many visitors maximised their time by planning and pre-booking appointments with exhibitors and we’ve had really positive feedback about how much people enjoyed the show.”
ABDO and ABDO College hosted ABDO Arms a specially designated ‘pub’ bar area for ABDO where Association members were able to network and socialise.
ABDO CET workshops and discussion were also held over the 3 day event.
